Blanket

Cleaning my computer, I found pictures of the baby blanket from my book, that I had completely forgotten about. I kind of like them though.

En "nettoyant" l´ordinateur, je suis tombée sur des photos de la couverture bébé de mon livre que j´avais complètement oubliées. Je les trouve jolies pourtant.

Exposition et atelier

Bon ben voilà tout est dit. Rieux-Minervois se trouve entre Narbonne et Carcassonne, à 1 heure et quelque de Toulouse, et son église romane heptagonale vaut le détour à elle seule. Venez nombreux ! I will be showing my work in Rieux -Minervois from 6-30th November. It´s a little French village in the South of France, between Narbonne and Carcassone, only one hour drive from Toulouse. The circular roman church, a quite rare construction, is worth visiting. The opening of the exhibition is 6th November at 18:00. Moth alert, again !

The "moth" from previous post did it again: this time it was Rosa (or Violet, we never know)´s cap and Maman Mouche´s dress that were nagged. Sylvía and Theodora declare war...

Qui elles ? Mais les traductions françaises de mon livre, le fameux Tricot jacquard islandais ou le renouveau de la semelle tricotée islandaise (tout un programme...) ! Trico´13

Tricot´13 pour conjurer le mauvais sort? J´en suis ce mois d´octobre avec pour thème le point mousse ! J´étais obligée de participer... trop fastoche... point mousse en jacquard (islandais bien sûr !) et point mousse rayé, qui dit mieux ?

Tricot´13 (Knit´13, every thirteenth of the month, you have to complete a knitting project to exorcise and post it). This month´s thema was garter stitch. I had to participate... intarsia in garter stitch and strips, what more?

Sylvía insisted that I knitted a girly outfit for her friend' s birthday. Here it is. Happy birthday Margot ! I had fun doing it but Barbie absolutely has to see a doctor because of her anorexia...

Sylvía m´a fait des pieds et des mains pour que je tricote une tenue de Barbie pour l´anniversaire de sa copine Margot. Je ne me suis pas trop fait prié... Mais Barbie devrait vraiment consulter un docteur pour ses problèmes d´anorexie...

What a relief ! My camera was in my bag, exactely where I thought it was and where I had already be looking for at least three times... My grand-mother blamed the house fairies for things like that. In the camera where pictures of a new project I´ve been working on lately and I can show you a glimpse of it. Any idea what it may be ?

Quel soulagement ! Mon appareil photo était dans mon sac, exactement là où je pensais qu´il se trouvait et où j´avais déjà cherché au moins trois fois... Encore un coup des petits lutins, disait ma grand-mère. Dans l´appareil, quelques photos d´un nouveau projet dont je peux vous montrer quelques bribes. Une idée de ce que c´est ?
